Trade tensions flare over Donald Trump's tariff announcements

The US president-elect has threatened to impose new tariffs not only on imports from Chinese but also those from Canada and, above all, Mexico. He accused the latter of being a gateway for products from China and for fentanyl, a synthetic drug that is wreaking havoc in the US.
